There are many types of bathroom tile, and there are many cleaning agents to help you keep them looking brand new.

If you have bathroom tile, you will soon realize that the beauty and dazzle of new tile can turn dull and dingy in a hurry and be very difficult to return to its original luster, once it is dirty. So it is a good idea when installing your tile, to use the best installation professional possible, and to get the pro who puts down your tile (or up, if you are using wall tiles) to seal it with a high tech product made especially for keeping tile from getting midew, dirt, dust, and stains from the grout lines that are between the tiles. These are the areas in the tile surface that create the most problems in terms of keeping them clean and looking fresh.

The grout lines in the tile work in your bathroom tile are the spaces in between the tile units, where the adhesive or mortar goes, when the tiles are first installed. Most tiles are installed with little lines of grout between them, and then the grout lines are neatly trimmed up and cleaned. But over time, bacteria and dirt tend to get built up in these places, because the grout is not smooth like the tiles usually are, and the roughness of the grout means that is has little tiny places for things like dirt and debris to cling to it. So a good sealer over the grout in the beginning will help to put a smooth and slippery surface over the lines of grout, and this will be resistant to the build up of dirt and mildew.

Always care for bathroom tile according to the manufacturer's recommendations, and use a good quality cleaner and disinfectant to regularly wash the tiles. Then they will continue to look brand new, for years to come, and you will always be able to enjoy the lustre that is characteristic of nice tile work.
